“ We love coming here for Sunday afternoon drinks. They make a wonderful espresso martini (hint: replace the vodka with tequila) and their cocktail menu has interesting offerings, such as the Urban Overalls (bourbon based). Not pictured is the maple glazed brussel sprouts. Huge shareable portion. ”
“ Nothing not too like here. Prices are affordable. Neither breakfast or dinner is comped with the room. The portions are big. I got two entrees as I assumed they would be small but I was full after just one. The waiters and waitresses are kind as well and are checking in if you need anything periodically. And at night if you want to grab dinner they have multiple tvs playing the sports games. ”
“ My family and I were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant we were expecting a regular underwhelming hotel restaurant but this visit was far far from that. We ordered The farmers toast the calamari two steaks and pasta with meatballs. The food, from beginning to end was fresh and delicious. Our least favorite dish was the pasta and meatballs but everything else especially the appetizers, were very delicious. Along with 4 cocktail drinks. And for dessert the s’mores martini and creme brulee. The Field and Farm burger, not pictured, was also delicious. Ribeye with vegetable hash and puree was my personal favorite! Thank you to this restaurant! I would drive from Boston just to eat here again and again! ”
“ I have had 2 meals here in the past two days, and they both have been top notch. This morning's Seaside Benedict with lobster was perfection. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Everything is fresh, flavorful, perfectly prepared, creative, and delicious. Last evening's drinks at the bar were just as impressive with some unique and great tasting twists on some standard mixed drinks. Don't miss this spot when you're in Portland. ”
“ Wow! One of the best meals we've ever had. Crab crusted haddock was incredible. Mussels in ground mustard broth were so good. The Blueberry glazed Salmon salad was addictive. Staff worked as a great team. Some say its weird that it's in a hotel. But. It's right at the front door and so worth it. ”
“ Emerson, the bar tender, was amazing and helpful. Polite, friendly, and makes delicious drinks. The food is always amazing and come our quickly. ”
“ Was looking for a unique menu while on vacation & so many things on City Farmhouse looked amazing. We almost did not go in as the restaurant is located in the Sheraton hotel. We are glad we did as the restaurant did not disappoint. Food was excellent (we had yummy salads, burgers & truffle fries). Restaurant itself looked very high end. If this restaurant were in a different location, it would have been busy but we were only one of three tables occupied. ”
“ Farmhouse croissant is superb - tender crisp bacon, egg perfect, croissant ok); potatoes - gorgeous and fabulous. Service: excellent! ”
